Kim Kendall has three young children of her own and she holds a a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University College of Fraser Valley.  As well, Kim has completed Infant Development Program courses at the University of British Columbia. Her classes at UBC focused on areas of child development, special needs and included the course "Education and Culture in the Deaf Community". Kim is a strong believer in Joseph Garcia's Sign with your Baby program and has been studying American Sign Language since the summer of 2006.  Kim has been working as a Infant Development Consultant with the Langley Child Development Centre since 2001 and is also certified with the International Association of Infant Massage.  

"I have always been intrigued by and interested in American Sign Language (ASL).  I believe that ASL is a wonderful language than can be used by children and their parents before verbal communication is possible.  WeeHands is the curriculum that I have been waiting for, so that I can offer classes and knowledge to parents that they can use to communicate with and become closer to their children."
