Megan Lekas
is the owner of the
Learning and Therapy Corner.
She graduated from Denison University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in
Child Psychology. Megan continued her education and earned a Bachelor of
Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Towson
University. She began her American Sign Language studies while at Towson
University In 1999, Megan graduated from Loyola College with her Master
of Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. You can reach Megan

Megan Lekas has always enjoyed working
with and being around children. She has two
young children of her own who she's signed with.
This gives her the ability to relate to her
clients and their families both from
professional and personal perspectives. |
Megan Crowley is a
speech-language pathologist with the Learning and
Therapy Corner. Her fascination with sign language began
when she learned about Helen Keller in elementary
school. Over time this broadened to a passion for
helping others become successful communicators. Megan
studied ASL while at the University of New Hampshire and
Towson University, where she earned her Masters in
speech-language pathology in 1999. Megan has signed with
her two daughters, with children during speech/language
therapy, and in children's ministry at her church. You

Megan
Crowley remarks, "Pairing ASL with spoken
language truly makes communicating a multisensory
experience! When a child is given the opportunity to
discover and interact with the people and world
around him by looking, listening, speaking, and
responding using his hands, he is fully engaged in
learning. WeeHands classes provide wonderful
opportunities to help little ones thrive as early
communicators. And don't forget...it's so much fun!" |
