Rita Fenster-Nunez has worked with children and families for over 20 years. She previously worked at the NY Foundling Hospital, Deaf Services Program for 10 years, providing counseling as well as instruction using total communication to children with developmental delays and often with hearing impairments. 

She has worked in the field of early intervention for 9 years, in various capacities, including service coordinator supervisor and home-based therapy coordinator at Jackson Children Services in Jackson Heights.  Rita currently is a candidate for a professional licensee as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities, age birth to grade 2.  Rita resides with her husband and 3 children in Long Island.
